Port of Den Helder – Shore based power facilities

Project description

During the last PERS period (2017-2019) the project to place new shore-based power facilities had been realized.
The project contributes to optimizing the facilities in the port. In addition, it also contributes to the sustainability ambitions of the port, such as reducing air emissions and noise.

An additional positive effect is that shipping is more aware of whether or not to leave equipment on board switched on. In this way, it also contributes to reducing energy consumption.
