Engaging Trainees for sustainability

Saving electricity, heat and fuel with creative ideas. That’s what our nationwide Energy-Scouts initiative is all about. Throughout Germany, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) organise this further education program for trainees from various companies. Regardless of gender, E-Scouts are young people who take responsibility in society and – in this case – in our company. The aim of this training is to provide the trainees with the necessary knowledge on the topics of energy efficiency, energy transition and resource conservation, which they can then implement in their own projects.

NPorts has successfully participated in this programme for many years. Thanks to the commitment of our trainees, many exciting projects have already been implemented, from optimising lighting to saving electricity and thermal energy to avoiding waste. Our trainees can develop their education, our company can reduce its energy consumption and at the same time we fulfil our social responsibility to help shape the energy transition.
